Marketing & Events Coordinator
marketing-events-coordinator
Organised, proactive, and love the buzz of pulling an event together?
Stirling Marketing is a B2B marketing agency that partners with fast-growing technology, SaaS, and services brands across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Japan. We help our clients accelerate revenue, build strong pipelines, and stand out in competitive markets.
As Marketing & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing and event delivery. You will work closely with our internal team and clients to ensure the seamless planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and events. This remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organised, and proactive person who thrives on coordinating logistics and delivering exceptional experiences.
We Are Measured on Pipeline and Revenue
Every client we work with sets us hard targets: registrations, qualified leads, pipeline generated, revenue influenced. We report against those numbers every week and we are held to them.
For you, that means an event is not finished when the room empties. It is finished when the follow-up has gone out and the leads have landed with the client. You will always know how your events are tracking against their registration targets.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management and Administration
- Coordinate the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, roundtables, sponsorships, and conferences
- Manage event logistics, including venue booking, vendor coordination, attendee registration, and materials preparation
- Act as the main point of contact for event-related enquiries and communication with stakeholders
- Drive registrations against target, and flag early when an event needs a push
- Conduct post-event evaluations and create reports on event success, leads generated, and improvements
Marketing Support
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and content channels
- Collaborate on content creation, editing, and scheduling across platforms, and maintain content calendars to ensure timely execution
- Track marketing campaign performance and provide actionable insights to enhance results
Administrative and Client Support
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Communicate with clients to understand their goals and keep them informed of project progress
- Conduct research, manage databases, and assist with various administrative tasks to support the broader team
About You
- A degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in marketing and/or event coordination, ideally in a remote or agency environment. Experience in B2B marketing would be highly regarded
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and execute quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of ownership over your work
Tools and Platforms
You will work across a variety of client systems. Exposure to HubSpot and Salesforce is a bonus, since that is where our clients live, but it is not essential.
Internally we run on Monday.com for project management, Clockify for time tracking, and AI to work smarter and faster, so being comfortable with digital tools and open to AI is important.
Willingness to learn quickly matters more to us than deep technical expertise in any one platform.
Why Stirling Marketing?
- Work with ambitious, innovative B2B tech brands across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Japan
- Cut your teeth on a serious event program, not just webinar admin
- Join a high-performance, remote-first team that values initiative, ownership, and responsiveness
- Learn from experienced strategists directly, with no layers in between
- Make a real impact. Your ideas, energy, and execution directly drive our clients' growth, and are recognised and valued
